About Us
We represent an ongoing commitment to promote and foster the Greek experience! Pensacola Alumnae Panhellenic Association (PAPA) is a community based, fraternal organization affiliated with the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), whose membership is composed of representatives from 11 of the 26 national sororities who live in the Pensacola and surrounding area.
Our organization's purpose is: to inform fraternity women of current trends; to promote the fraternity system; to improve the Panhellenic image; to stimulate a continuing interest in Panhellenic affairs and to support our community. Along with laughter and fun, we are a diverse group of women supporting inter-fraternity friendships, scholastic achievement, leadership development and community service. We have members of all ages who share a passion for enjoying and promoting the sorority experience beyond our college years.
Our interest is to assist local girls preparing for college and sorority recruitment through an informational session (Recruitment 411) and recommendations from local alumnae. Attendance at our event and recommendations are not required to participate in recruitment, nor for membership into any of the NPC Sororities. The PAPA members can help you in obtaining recommendations from sororities at your college or university. Please note we only facilitate the disbursement of information to local alumnae chapters, the recommendation writing is at the sole discretion of each alumnae chapter.
